Local Elections

Local November Bond, and subsequent Special District Director Elections (if applicable), will be held on November 7, 2023. Not every county has an election taking place. Contact your county Clerk for more information on any local elections that you may be eligible to participate in.

  • The first day Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) ballots will be sent out is September 22nd, 2023.
  • Regular absentee voting will start on October 10th, 2023.

About Our Office

We have a long history of serving the public. Beginning in April 1869 with the appointment of the first Secretary of the Territory of Wyoming, Edward M. Lee, by United States President Ulysses S. Grant, this office has always served the public from the State Capitol Building. However, following the completion of the Capitol Renovation Project in 2019, the Office is now located at Herschler Building East, Suites 100 and 101.
