Publications

A copy of the Constitution is available by either downloading it from this site or by submitting a written request, along with the $2.00 fee (per copy), to Herschler Building East, Suite 100, 122 W 25th St, Cheyenne, WY 82002-0020. If the requested amount is significant, please contact the Election Division via email at Elections@wyo.gov or by calling (307) 777-5860.
Yes, the Wyoming Constitution is available for a pre-paid fee of $2.00 per copy.
The Constitution is only updated when changes have been made. A constitutional change may gain ballot access, to be voted on by the people, through either a joint resolution passed by the State Legislature or through the initiative process.

About Our Office

We have a long history of serving the public. Beginning in April 1869 with the appointment of the first Secretary of the Territory of Wyoming, Edward M. Lee, by United States President Ulysses S. Grant, this office has always served the public from the State Capitol Building. However, following the completion of the Capitol Renovation Project in 2019, the Office is now located at Herschler Building East, Suites 100 and 101.
